Our Process

Briefing

Our briefing session will take a look at your website goals, your target audience, the structure your site needs and we'll explore the design style that appeals to you and your audience.

Content

Having your content ready is essential to the success of the project. This means having your photos, logo, text, testimonials and more ready to go.

Concepts

Before we get together, we'll decide on a direction to take. After our briefing we'll go away, and put together a couple of design directions. These are concept style tiles not mockups or page designs. It makes sure we're on the same page.

Build

It's time for the most exciting part of the project!! It's build day. We'll come to you, or you can come to us. This is a full day, we start at 9 and go to around 5pm. You'll be needed, but you won't be needed the entire time.

Ready to go? Let's lock in that date for your website build! Make sure you've got enough time to get all your content together before our build day.

Launch

By the end of the day we'll be ready to launch! We'll also go through some training to ensure you've got everything you need to look after your site.

Frequently Asked Questions

Whereabouts do we do the website in a day?

Typically we would do it either at your place or ours. It is usually easier when we’re in the same room. However, we have done websites in a day remotely before as well. The most important thing is that you’re accessible throughout the day.

Can you help me with website content?

Our Website In A Day package doesn’t include any content creation. After the initial briefing we’ll provide you with some guides to help you with content. We can also provide recommendations for copywriters.

Will you manage the website after we launch?

Along with your website, we’ll include a handy website guide to help you keep track of all the important details about your website. You’ll get to help you have continued success with your website. However, we absolutely can maintain it for you – if you’d like to find out more about our Website Care Plans you can do so here.

Will my site be Search Engine Optimised?

Your site will be coded with the technical best practices for SEO. Whilst this will ensure your site is SEO ready, this won’t guarantee you first place spots in google rankings. If ranking high engines is important to you, you’ll want to consider a fully managed SEO campaign. To truly see the benefit of SEO you’ll need an ongoing SEO commitment.

What if I need e-Commerce or other advanced functionality?

The Website In A Day probably isn’t right for you. Why not check out our other website packages for a more comprensive package.

Where will my site be hosted?

Anywhere you like! If you’ve already got hosting that supports WordPress sites we can absolutely use that. If not we can provide hosting recommendations.

I can't make the slot anymore, can I reschedule?

Absolutely, if you need to reschedule just let us know 48 hours in advance. For cancellations that give less than 48 hours’ notice, we will charge a rescheduling fee.

What if I need more than 5 pages?

Whilst we only guarantee 5 pages (there’s only so much we can do in a day!), if you need more we can absolutely discuss the extra time and costs associated.
